Second Saturday Gallery Walk

Hannibal’s downtown galleries are the place to be each second Saturday. Wander from gallery to gallery and enjoy special guest artists, food, friends and extended hours. Whether you come with friends or come alone, you’ll have a great time.

Annual Autumn Historic Folklife Festival

This fall festival is not to be missed! Stroll among artisans and craftspeople demonstrating the lifestyles and folk arts of the mid-1800’s. Local food vendors cook over wood stoves and the music of strolling street musicians wash over the crowd. Annual National Tom Sawyers Days

A Hannibal tradition for over 60 years, this family friendly festival offers something for all ages and interests. Contests include the National Fence. Painting Competition, the frog-jump contest and the Tom & Becky Contest. Other activities include a huge craft festival, a mud volleyball tournament, horseshoe tournament, carnival rides, live music every night in the beer garden, and a spectacular fireworks display over the Mississippi River on the 4th of July. 573-795-6233

Listed as one of Missouri’s Top 10 Unique Festivals according to The Twain on Main is festival celebrating Hannibal’s beloved author, Mark Twain. The street festival includes, musicians, story tellers and games for kids. Shopping offers a wonderful variety of items at the local stores and if that isn’t enough the streets in Historic Downtown Hannibal are full with vendors.
